College Station City Council Place 5 incumbent Chris Scotti was defeated by Larry Stewart.

Stewart says he plans to work with Dennis Maloney and John Crompton, as a team.

"Neighborhood integrity was one of the biggest draws on this entire election. In particularly when you look at the other two candidates who were running with me, they were just overwhelmingly neighborhood integrity issues, and I think the people in College Station are immensely interested in maintaining their neighborhoods. They want to see a neighborhood maintained, they also want us to get other industry in here. They wanna see all of it, they just wanna see it done smartly," said Stewart.

Winner Larry Stewart's defeat of Chris Scotti is a god-send to our neighborhoods. And the entire people of College-Station. Chris Scotti was all about the Money he could put in his Pocket and Who Cares about the Intergrity of our Beautiful Neighborhoods. Or , when we purchase our homes, if there so happens to be a vacate area around us , we should just up and buy it also!! Thanks, to all voters who voted Chris Scotti Out of Office.

Scotti was quoted in the Sunday Eagle saying his voters were content. He would have won by a decent margin if they voted. Was he talking about the builders and students that just left town? What about the real residents of College Station? They are the ones that have a meaningful stake in the way the city grows. Wake up Scotti. You're still confused. Time to clean your desk. Bye now.
