TYLER- The Blinn College Volleyball team defeated Tyler Junior College in straight sets 25-16, 25-16, 25-12 in Region XIV volleyball action.

The Buccaneers are 21-2 overall and 4-0 in Region play.

In the match, the Bucs were led by Cinthya Roberto with 11 kills, 7 digs and 5 blocks.

Sophomore Kayla Schmidt added 8 kills and 22 assists.

The Lady Bucs are off the remainder of the week and will face Coastal Bend College on Monday at home as a part of a three game home stand next week.

Texas A&M's Bryan Davis scored 16 points and had a key block as Texas A&M avoided an upset with a 55-48 victory over Stephen F. Austin Tuesday night.
