Since I got back from Galveston, several of you have asked if I know how homes or buildings at specific addresses fared. To help you out, I've posted photos from this weekend in Galveston, to the "Eye on You" section of our web-channel. The raw video we shot while embedded with the National Guard is also up.

Since "Look and Leave" has been suspended I realize its difficult to get back and check things out in person.  I hope seeing the pictures or video brings a little bit of comfort in this time of uncertainty.

Ashlea you seem like such a kind, understanding person. I would like to ask you to consider a presentation on injury to animals. The point being my little dog went into the next driveway and was run down and killed by that person in the next drive. This was blatant premeditated and just because she was not on a leash I have no recourse to file a complaint or civil action. A piece on this would be great so folks could know how important a leash is on their beloved pet. The pain our family is experiencing is immeasurable. It is more so knowing she was killed by a senseless act of animal cruelty

ESRI has NOAA GIS sattellite imagery for sale. I'm curious why NOAA is selling these things rather than posting them on their website so that refugees could at least do a basic inspection to see if their house and/or neighborhood is still there.

Big 12 Break Up? Dejavu All Over Again? Reminds Me of The SWC - 1 Comments Posted
For the last few days I've heard lots of moaning about the coming break up of the Big 12. To those resisting change I've been using all those phrases that deal with change like: "All good things must come to an end." "Change is inevitable." " We must embrace change". (Read Blog)
Defining Moments For Us All - 1 Comments Posted
Throughout everyone of our lives there are traumatic moments we will never forget. I call them defining moments. Some are personal, some we share with our friends, families, our community or our world. For my parents it was the assassination of President John F Kennedy and when man walked on the moon.
