Grape Stomping at the Texas Reds

I had the lovely opportunity to participate in a unique event over the weekend: grape stomping!  I was pretty much briefed on the entire process about ten minutes prior to the event, which made the competition even better -- it was a lot of fun!

We were grouped in teams representing business and organizations throughout the Brazos Valley and I was partnered with Missy from Candy 95.  We stomped over 6 lbs of grapes taking home the crown for our respective bracket! (Of course, this blog would not have happened had we not won)  :-)

The grape stomping competition was just one of the many exciting events to take place at the Texas Reds Festival in downtown Bryan over the weekend and it turned out to be fantastic!  Temperatures were in the upper 90s but we did get a brief shower to cool things off a bit.
