4th of July Weather of the Past

After preparing the forecast for Independence Day we decided to track some records of the past.  Bad idea!  Since 2004 we've found that temperatures have averaged cooler than what we're forecasting this year and we've picked up more rain in the past as well.  This 4th of July will see temperatures in the upper 90s with a 40% chance for storms south of Bryan/College Station.

What do you mean cooler in the past. Look at 2005 - 101 degrees and no precipitation. You're making people think global warming is real.
