Lakers or Celtics?

If you haven't seen the Morning Show lately, you're missing some good rivalry talk!  Steve Fullhart is pretty convinced that the Celtics will beat the Lakers!!!  I think KBTX Media should be allowed to administer random substance tests for such statements  :-)

OK...so after all the anticipation, five games, a lot of surprises, a lot of upsets, and a lot of Jack Nicholson, we have arrived to the last week of the 2008 NBA season. The way I see it one of two things will happen -- the Celtics or the Lakers will win   :-)

I've already lost my bet on the Lakers taking it in five, so I'm pretty much holding on to hope that they can at least push the series to seven games, without the help of NBA officials this time :-), like every other Lakers fan; speaking of which, let's talk more about his game seven business:

A lot of us believe now that the Celtics knows how it feels to be a game away from the trophy, they'll actually show up and play for game six. That coupled with the fact that they'll be back in Boston may spell a lot of trouble for anyone wearing purple and gold. So with that, the odds are certainly against us for game six and you won't find too many people (Lakers or Celtics fans) who won't admit that.

But, while I can't argue with incredibly bad game six odds, if the Lakers can manage to steal one Tuesday night, I think Boston is in trouble! If this series advances to a game seven, I'm convinced that Phil Jackson will have his tenth NBA championship as a coach and Kobe will have his fourth!

What do you think? Lakers or Celtics?

Some might say predicting a Lakers' win in five games would warrant a "test." Just saying...
