Slight Chance for Rain/Severe Storms (from Mar 13)

Rain chances will be very slim today and confined to the eastern portions of the Brazos Valley. However, if a thunderstorm does develop (especially east of I 45), it will have the potential of becoming severe.

The primary threat with any storm that develops this evening will be large hail and the threat for severe weather will diminish during the overnight hours, Friday.

Again, rain chances are 20% at best, but if a storm does in-fact develop, there is a chance that it could quickly become severe. Otherwise, stay cool as temperatures warm up for the end of the week!

I have seen where Leon County (Centerville) is in a Flash Flood Warning until Wednesday. Does that mean that the severe weather is for Monday & Tuesday? The clouds have already moved in our area and it is very dark. Looking for an update. Thanks!

All I know is that it better not rain! My family and I are going to the carnival at Post Oak Mall. Oh by the way The Weather Channel (Suddenlink Channel 53) is saying that there is a moderate-high chance for severe. And their rain chance percentages are higher than KBTX's. So who is right???
