A Mother's Day Treat from Mother Nature

Mother Nature was very giving this Mother's Day (...wonder why?).  After May made it's return to the Brazos Valley last week, an unseasonably cool Sunday was slipped into the cards for mom!

The average low and high temperature for Mother's Day is 84 and 64 degrees.  The actual temperatures were 78 and 61 respectively, with a cool northeasterly wind.

Monday morning temperatures dropped into the 40s and 50s across the Brazos Valley! The low in Bryan/College Station, so far, is 58 degrees. Our weather watcher in Centerville reported 43 degrees at 6:00 a.m.

A storm system will push across the region by mid-week and the air will warm up and become increasingly humid, HOWEVER, the charts for the upcoming weekend may lead to another "unseasonably cool blog" this time next week!

We shall see.

Mother's Day weather could not have been more perfect. I spent as much time as I could outside.

Mother's Day was awesome this year. The weather couldn't have been better and it was a great day to spend with your family.
