The 2009 edition of the Hurricane Tracking Chart will be available next week (week of June 1). There are four ways you can get the limited edition tracking charts this year: - H-E-B, - BatteriesPlus in College Station - abouTown Press - KBTX.com. KBTX.com: you'll be able to download a PDF version of the chart online at the hurricane section of KBTX.com. The download link will be available Monday morning (June 1) at 7 a.m. abouTown Press: the 2009 tracking charts will also ship out in the next edition of the abouTown Press news magazine. H-E-B: You'll be able to pick up your personal copy of the tracking charts at the water display inside your local H-E-B this year. Note the change in venue. The tracking charts will not be available at Wal-Mart. BatteriesPlus: You can also pick up a copy of the tracking charts at BatteriesPlus in College Station (located at 2001 Texas Ave. South, Suite 600). The tracking charts include useful information you can use to prepare for the 2009 tropical season, including a preparation checklist, severe weather safety tips, and -- of course -- a large tracking chart. |
