The cost is $20 to purchase a butterfly to release in honor a loved one, to make a wish, or just to enjoy the beauty of releasing a live butterfly.
The guest who purchases the most butterflies will also receive the opportunity to have a name of their choice engraved on a permanent plaque at the Museum.
Butterflies are limited, so purchase yours today!
Following the light reception at check-in, guests will complete their written wishes—as a personal keepsake, for public display or both--and prepare to receive their butterfly(ies) for the 10am-release.
During this time, guests will enjoy live music by Joey McGee, children's crafts, and free admission to the Museum’s exhibits including the observation bee hive and butterfly displays.
Texas A&M Garden club, Master Naturalists, and Audubon Society will be on hand to give out free seeds, and talk about butterflies and butterfly gardening.
Call the Museum at 979-776-2195 to reserve your butterfly today!
