Many of you have probably heard of the "Elf on the Shelf."

You "adopt" an elf who will report to Santa Claus each night to let him know if you've been good or bad.

The Bryan Fire Department is taking part in the Christmas tradition but with a twist.

They have their very own elf on the shelf named Yergen.

He stopped by BVTM Monday morning and you can watch his interview in the video player above.
