Here are the locations of the College Station Police Traffic Patrols.

They are broken up into two different lengths of patrol; 30 and 90. The 90 day patrols are where accidents have occurred recently.

30 Day Patrol:
Texas Avenue (George Bush to University Dr.)
Raymond Stotzer Parkway at Harvey Mitchell Parkway
Harvey Road (Texas Ave. to George Bush East)

CSPD is seeing an increase in accidents along Wellborn Road, near campus. Most of the accidents are due to construction, but officers urge people to pay close attention when driving this area.

Also, the top three contributing factors noted on the crash reports:

1. Fail to control speed - This would include following too closely and is also a direct result of distracted driving.
2. Fail to yield right of way - Left or right turns
3. Unsafe lane change

90 Day Patrol:
University Dr. East (1400 block to SH 6)
Wellborn Road (George Bush to the north city limits)
