The College Station ISD Education Foundation is proud to hosts its 5th annual “50 Men Who Can Cook” event Friday night at the Brazos County Expo Complex.

Our “Top Chef” sponsor for the fourth year running is Commerce National Bank. At the event, 64 local community leaders will be showcasing their culinary skills to raise money for teacher grants and scholarships.

Other local cook celebrities include Bryan Broadcasting General Manager Ben Downs, Texas A&M Women’s Head Soccer Coach – Coach G. Guerrieri, Chip Howard with Sports Talk 1620, College Station Fire Chief R.B. Alley and Asst. Fire Chief Jon Mies, and CSISD Superintendent Eddie Coulson.

The Education Foundation is in its 13th year of existence and thanks to community support has raised over $1.5 million. We will be giving back our 500,000th dollar this year to the district in the form of teacher grants. Funds raised through the Foundation are used to provide scholarships to selected graduating seniors, offer programs and opportunities for students and staff, as well as award grants to teachers for the development and implementation of innovative teaching programs within the classroom not otherwise funded by tax dollars.
