April is National Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.
Voices for Children is partnering with Scotty's House for the Pinwheel Garden. The garden represents the more than 800 children who were abused or neglected in the Brazos Valley last year. The garden will be on display throughout the entire month of April.
VFC is also teaming up with Scotty's House for "Dog Tired of Child Abuse." It's a hot dog eating contest taking place on Saturday, April 20th from 10am-noon at Sue Haswell Park in Bryan. It's a fun, family-friendly event for everyone.
Entry forms are available at VFC and Scotty's House offices or online at vfcbrazos.org.
