The 18th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month Candlelight Vigil will be held October 9, 2012 at the Brazos County Administration Building, 200 South Texas Avenue, in Downtown Bryan.
The event will include a keynote address; reading of the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation; presentation of the Bob Wiatt Award and Voices Against Violence Award; and lighting of the candles in memory of those killed as a result of domestic or dating violence.

The vigil is sponsored by the Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
