Autumn is a great time of year to care for your garden tools.
Jayla Fry with the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service stopped by VBTM Friday morning with a few tips on tool maintenance.
She says a great tip for taking care of them is to use motor oil or cooking oil to care for your tools. If you'd like to find out how, click
The oil acts like a sandpaper and removes the rust from them.
She also says to make sure you keep your tools in a cool location, like a shed.
