Jean Laird stopped by BVTM Monday morning for our Pet Talk Segment. She was joined by "Vonn", a pit bull who was a burn victim.
He narrowly escaped death last year when he was set on fire and left for dead.
It took a group of Veterinary specialists provide around the clock car for Vonn. He is now being treated the same as a human burn victim.
The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital has over 70 small animal and over 30 large animal veterinary technicians.
The technicians are similar to human nurses.
They play a vital role in the education and hands on experience necessary to the success of our 100+ veterinary students each year.
