On Wednesday October 24th, the Bryan Fire Department, the Bryan Police Department, and the Guardians of the Ribbon have teamed up to host a FREE event in the Lowes parking Lot from 5pm-8pm.
The Guardians of the Ribbon have facilitated a Pink Heals tour that travels across the United States in pink fire trucks, squad cars, and ambulances in hopes of raising money and awareness for the battle against all types of women’s cancer.
The Bryan Police Department, the Bryan Fire Department, and the Pink Heals organization will have emergency response vehicles on site for display. Local cancer organizations from the Brazos Valley area will be there to offer information about women’s cancer and support groups available right here in the Brazos valley.
There will be fun activities for the kids and complementary refreshments. We will also be giving away a limited number of FREE trick-or-treat bags and glow sticks to promote safe trick-or-treating.
T-shirts will be sold at the event for $15 each and monetary donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go directly back into our local community. Come out and show your support for those affected by cancer in the Brazos Valley.
