Redbud trees are a native Texas plant with a good success rate of living through different climates.
There are three different types of Redbud trees: Eastern, Mexican and Texas trees.
There is no soil prep required to plant a tree. Dig a hole twice as wide, but the same depth as the pot. Remember mulch is critical for the first few months of a tree, but it grows everywhere.
