News 3 is learning that a train carrying steel pipe lost that load near South Brazos Avenue in Bryan before 8 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Bryan Police confirmed that the train did spill the pipe along the tracks near South Brazos Avenue. They also confirmed that the train, run by Union Pacific, has been notified and the train is stopped on the tracks.
Union Pacific is sending a crew out to clean up the lost pipes.
Street traffic is not delayed because of the stopped train, but all train traffic in the area is stopped.
A fence line was destroyed due to the pipes rolling off the train. No injuries are being reported.
