Two Bryan Men Arrested on Drug Charges, Have 80 Arrests Combined

Three men have been arrested after a routine patrol catches them with cocaine. Bryan Police arrested the men Friday on Legion Court.

Two of three are very familiar with the Brazos County Jail.

Friday night, just after 7:30, Bryan police noticed Houston resident Lawrence Hill standing outside on Legion Court. Hill was wanted for an outstanding warrant.

As police approached Hill they noticed two other men -- Preston Wiggins and Manvell Ginn. After confronting the men and searching two vehicles, the police report says they recovered around $3,000 in cash, cellphones and two packages containing "cocaine cookies."

The cars, cash, cell phones and suspected drugs were all collected as evidence.

Wiggins and Ginn are in the Brazos County Jail again Tuesday night. The two of them have a combined arrest record of 80 trips behind bars.

Preston Wiggins, besides his manufacture and delivery charge on Friday, has six other possession arrests and nine charges of driving with an invalid license. He also has a charge for assualt on a public servant, burglary and criminal trespass.

That makes for 31 arrests in 12 years.

Manvell Ginn has Wiggins beat though. Charged Friday with manuacturing and delivery, he's got six other possession arrests, including one with an 8-month stay in jail.

He's also been charged six times for evading arrest. Ginn has an arrest for burlglay, theft and two parole violations, as well as 35 other chages.

The arrest on Friday was number 49 for Ginn.

Hill, the Houston man with the outstanding warrant, was released from jail yesterday.

Wiggins is being held under a $50,000 bond. Ginn's bond has been set at $25,000.
