If there's an unpaid fine on your record, you get a free pass on warrant fees for the next three weeks in Brazos County and College Station courts.
That's because the College Station Municipal Court and Brazos County Justice of the Peace Courts are participating in a warrant amnesty period.
That means you have from now until March 1st to catch up on any outstanding fines or tickets. Those who have a warrant out for their arrest can turn themselves in without any additional penalties.
If you don't pay up during this period, law enforcement will go door to door and round up everyone with outstanding warrants or fines.
For more information call The Municipal Courthouse at (979) 764-3683.
