MILAM COUNTY The powerful winter storm is here and is already affecting parts of our area.
Bob Colwell with TxDOT says that crews were out around 5 a.m. Friday morning because of ice and accumulation that had formed on some bridges and overpasses in Milam County.
Crews put sand along FM 112, FM 437 and FM 485 to help with traction for drivers traveling in those areas.
TxDOT says drivers should slow down and use caution on the roadways.
