Whether you watched it fall or heard the rumble of the blasts, the Plaza Hotel is gone. For over 30 years the Plaza Hotel stood as one of the tallest landmarks in Aggieland.
Now it's a pile of rubble.
Thousands of people. Everywhere you look. Each with a different reason for being up early on Thursday morning.
But among the crowd, both young and old, we found two experts.
Jenny and James Morgan.
They are the wise old age of 5 and 6 and they know what they're talking about.
"We're watching a building fall down," explains James.
They don't yet know what the word implosion means, but Jenny knows how long it should take.
"Seconds. It's gonna take three seconds," she says.
James has a pretty good idea of how should happen.
"It's gonna go like 'boom boom' and then it's gonna go like 'cchhhhhhh' and then it'll fall down like that," he explains using his hands.
When the moment came at 6:40 A.M., James, and thousands of others, saw what actually would happen.
We talked to James after the blast. He was speechless.
His prediction? Pretty accurate.
