STUFFING INGREDIENTS: (Portion size shown for about 2-3 servings)
1 Granny Smith Apple – Large Diced
1 Medium Onion – Large Diced
½ Baguette Bread – Large Diced
4 tbsp Butter
1 to 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley
S&P to taste
Saute apple and onion in 4 tbsp butter. When onions are clear, salt & pepper, add bread crumbs and allow to soak up any remaining butter. Take off heat. Add about ½ cup to 1 cup chicken broth to moisten bread crumbs with a little remaining moisture. Add fresh parsley. Stir well and put in a buttered casserole dish. Bake at 400 for about 15 minutes or until stuffing appears browned.
Meanwhile, prepare porkchops for grilling. Salt & pepper both sides of chops, rub with a little melted butter and place on clean, prepared grill. Depending on thickness of chops, you may need to sear both sides on grill and finish cooking in oven (350 for about 15 to 20 minutes).
Serve with Apple Bread Stuffing.
