Fried Chicken and Waffles

Breast w/ skin on

2 cupsstyle='mso-tab-count:1'>              Buttermilkstyle='mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt;color:black'>

1 tspstyle='mso-tab-count:1'>                 Herbs,
assorted dry, thyme is great

1 tspstyle='mso-tab-count:1'>                 Cajun

½ tspstyle='mso-tab-count:1'>                Powdered

½ tspstyle='mso-tab-count:1'>                Cracked
Black Pepper


Mix all ingredients well. Cover and marinate no more than 12 hours (at least 2 hours)Remove chicken from marinade and pat dry. Place in flour then in egg wash solution (beaten eggs and milk) then back in the seasoned flour. Shake off excess flour and deep fry until golden brown. May require finishing in oven to completely cook. You may pan fry this on the stove instead of deep-frying.


Use your favorite waffle
recipe.  Try adding a pinch of nutmeg,
yeast or malt - or all three.  A good
waffle recipe, in my opinion, usually has yeast and melted butter in the ingredient
