Highway 6 Construction Could Cause Delays

Beginning Thursday at 8:30am, the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Brazos County Maintenance crews will begin making operational improvements to the intersection of Texas Avenue.

SH 6 west frontage road and Deacon. They will remove the concrete median located in the area.

Traffic will be down to one lane and motorists will not be able to enter SH 6. They will need to continue on the frontage road to go to the south of Rock Prairie to enter SH 6. Please slow down in the area and watch for workers and obey all traffic control.
