Traffic Advisory – Armadillo Dash

On Sunday, March 4th, the Bryan/College Station area will host the Sixth Annual Armadillo Dash. We are asking the public to review the course route and the street closure list to ensure that traffic is able to flow with as few disruptions as possible. Below you will find links to the course route maps. Please note that street closures will begin at 6:30 AM.

-Harvey Road between the State Highway 6 East Feeder and FM 158 will be closed to thru traffic at the start of the race until all of the ½ marathon runners have turned to the south on State Highway 30 (to Huntsville).
-Harvey Road between Appomattox and Copperfield will be closed for the duration of the race. It should reopen by 11:00 AM.
-Copperfield Drive will be closed to all traffic until the 5K runners are off of the northbound side and returning to Veterans Park on the southbound side. Once those runners are off of northbound then northbound traffic may be opened. Southbound traffic will not be allowed onto Copperfield until all runners are off of that road.

Complete information concerning the race can be found at www.armadillodash.com.
