The MTV show "The Real World" will be sending casting directors to the Twin Cities.

An open casting call will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hurricane Harry's in College Station.

All interested applicants are asked to bring a recent picture of themselves (which will not be returned) in addition to a photo ID. They also ask that applicants be between the ages of 18 and 24 if interested in applying.

Producers want characters from real life who are driven, career-minded, and will want to pursue their life goals while on the show, though they are not requirements for the show. Anyone with a great personality is invited to attend the casting call.

Previous cast members have been from all backgrounds.

A special welcome is being extended to Armed Forces veterans. Presenting a valid military ID and a "VIP Pass" will allow those servicemen and women to go to the front of the line to the next available casting interview.

For those who can't make it to the open call, audition tapes are still being accepted by mail. The production company has also added a brand-new system to allow applicants to submit a video online.
