Blue Baker will hold Cookie Eating Competition
to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network

College Station, TX - April 22, 2008

On June 7th, 2008, 11AM – 1PM at Fountain Plaza in College Station (across from the Hilton), fans will gather once more to cheer on contestants in the 3rd annual Blue Baker Cookie Eating Competition. This signature event is part of Cookies for Kids Day 2008, where all proceeds from cookies sold at both locations go to the Children’s Miracle Network. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to help raise even more money through sponsorships. There is no fee to enter.

Six competition age brackets span from “Baby Blues” (2 and under) to “Over the Hill Street Blues” (55 yrs and up). Another popular event is “The Blue Streak”, a speed competition where the winner is the first to finish four cookies.

First place winners will receive a free cookie everyday for a year. Second and third place winners will receive gift cards to Blue Baker.

There are limited spaces for each bracket so interested eaters are encouraged to enter promptly at www.Bluebaker.com . You may also pick up entry forms at either College Station location at 201 Domink or 800 University Drive. Details and rules are on the website.

Every year, Children's Miracle Network hospitals treat 17 million children for every disease and injury imaginable. Your support of Children's Miracle Network helps ensure that children have the specialized care they need and deserve.
