Pleasant Hill Winery's "Crush for Fun" is Smashing!

Experience the stomping of grapes and making of wine during four fun weekends at Pleasant Hill Winery in Brenham. "Crush for Fun" takes place on July 19-20, July 26-27, August 2-3 and August 9-10. Receive a picture of your purple feet to show all your friends, plus get a T-shirt that reads "I picked, I stomped, I made some wine."

Kids can join in the fun by stomping grapes, enjoying grape juice and receiving a picture and T-shirt, too. This smashing experience is only $25 for adults and $15 for children.

Tour the winery, taste the delicious varieties of award-winning wines and stop by Gina's Great Grape Gift Shop. Bring clothes you don't mind getting grape-stained and an old towel. Food and craft vendors will also be displaying their wares.

Hours are 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Saturday and noon-5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Visit the website at www.pleasanthillwinery.com or call (979) 830-VINE for directions to "Crush for Fun" at Pleasant Hill Winery in Brenham.

Brenham/Washington County is the home of Blue Bell ice cream, Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site - "The Birthplace of Texas," more than 40 bed and breakfast inns, wineries, Brenham's Main Street District, and more.
