(Press Release) On June 8th five new College Station Police Officers graduated from the Central Texas Police Academy and began their in-house orientation at the College Station police department.

These officers (pictured above) are now at the end of their orientation. Beginning next week, they will start their field training phase. The officers will spend the next 14 weeks paired with Field Training Officers to learn the daily duties of a police officer in College Station.

They will focus on geographic accountability, problem solving and community policing while enforcing the laws and ordinances they were sworn to uphold.
