Who can go without a notebook on campus? Not the one that holds paper, but rather the one that takes your computing experience with you on the go.

Apple’s MacBook takes the cake as the most convenient laptop computer. For around $1300 bucks, you’ll get everything you need for your everyday college tasks and them some…

An Apple product is also recommended for your daily entertainment needs with the iPod Touch. Remember, the “Touch” is almost exactly like its phone-counterpart, with the ability to listen to music and take pictures. The touch cannot make or receive calls or connect to the web.

And we know that at some point you’ll get “Apple’d out”, so a nice alternative – the Blackberry. In particular, the Curve 8320 is loaded with an mp3 player, camera, very good email, and somewhere – lost in the shuffle – it is still a phone.

Remember to also investigate what’s available at stores on-campus. While not guaranteed, you will often find some pretty good student discounts that can certainly save you a few bucks.

There are also backup hard drives, printers and other cost-effective products listed to get your school year started off right.
