Brazos Valley This Morning on News 3
Josh Ninke anchors Brazos Valley This Morning on News 3 and reports during the week.
Josh joined the News 3 team in July 2017 after four years in Montgomery, AL at their CBS station. Josh was the weekend anchor and political reporter. He had the chance to cover a lot of turmoil in the state as the governor, speaker of the house, and chief justice were all removed from office during his time there.
Josh spent a lot of his younger years moving around because his dad was in the army, including a few years in Killeen. He spent most of his middle and high school years in Columbus, GA. That’s where he figured out that he really wanted to get into the news business. His first taste of a newsroom was through the Boy Scouts while working on his communications merit badge.
Even though this is Aggie country, Josh is a diehard Georgia Bulldog. He graduated from UGA in 2011 and loved his time in Athens. After school, he returned to Columbus to work at WTVM for a few years before moving on to Montgomery.
When Josh isn’t working, he’s busy taking care of his sweet beagle named Evee. He also spends a lot of time playing music, including the cello. He minored in music performance in college and played in the Montgomery Symphony for 3 years. He’s excited to call the Brazos Valley his home! Josh is already enjoying the Texas sunrises, even if he’s working during most of them. You can find him on social media just about any time of day. He’s looking forward to hearing from you, so feel to reach out whenever!
