Supervises and coordinates parking attendants for cashiering events such as football, basketball, baseball, concerts and other events. Responding to customer inquiries and issues as related to parking and access for special events. Supervises receipt of payments from customers. Responsible for maintaining accurate cashier deposits and adhering to cash accounting practices. Instructs parking attendants in the procedures they must follow while fulfilling their cashiering duties and in the use of handheld equipment; troubleshoots to resolve minor equipment issues, such as re-booting and re-establishing communication to the equipment.
Good people, verbal and written skills. Must have an understanding of Excel and Word along with good organizational skills. Required to be able to lift 25 pounds. Required to use a computer to read and respond to email, receive reports and create documents. Requires ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Required to have some supervisory experience. Must have a valid Texas drivers license.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED and five years' experience in general office work, with some bookkeeping/accounting experience and some supervisory experience.
Part time/variable work- includes nights, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Must be able to work all Texas A&M home football game days. This position requires the employee to work outside much of the time and drive an A&M vehicle to regularly check each parking attendant at their lot assignment in the field.
