Woman celebrates 92nd birthday with indoor skydiving

In trending news this morning, a 92-year-old woman celebrated her birthday in a special way, plus cereal boxes that transform into simple machines.

First up, a Texas woman is flying high at 92. Jeanne Wiant celebrated her 92nd birthday with indoor skydiving in Austin. She chose the indoor option after considering jumping out of a plane, like former president George H. W. Bush has done on previous birthdays. Wiant says maintaining an active lifestyle is the key to feeling decades younger.

Also trending, your next box of cereal could be turned into a simple machine. General mills, in partnership with Rube Goldberg, Incorporated, has put out cereal boxes that can be transformed into one of six Rube Goldberg-type machines.

Each box includes instructions -- meant to be fun and easy -- that promote science, technology, engineering, and math education. You can even post a photo of your machine on Instagram or the General Mills Cereal Facebook page for a chance to win a college scholarship.
