The wait is almost over for the newest iPhone. Apple is expected to unveil an iPhone redesign September 12 to mark the device's 10 year anniversary.
The company is actually expected to reveal three phones: the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and a special edition iPhone X. New phone features are expected to include face recognition, a 3D camera and wireless technology. There's some speculation the iPhone X could run upwards of $1,000 but Apple has not commented on its prices at this point.
Also trending this morning, Good Year is testing a smart tire that essentially works like a Fitbit. The company is putting sensors in its tires to monitor important information like tire pressure and temperature. Good Year says it's a better way to gauge when it's time to fix or replace them.
Finally, Americans love sports so much that we spend a whopping $100 billion on them in the past year. A new creditcards.com survey shows about half of that spending went toward sporting events, including tickets, transportation and food and drinks. Americans reached into their pockets to spend $33 billion on sports equipment and $19 billion on gym memberships.
