JULY 12th, 2017 -- Isolated thunderstorms remain in the forecast through the end of the work week, although very few and far between. Tropical influence brings up the coverage of rain & thunderstorms by the weekend.
The remnants of what was once Tropical Depression Four, in the Atlantic, spent Wednesday bringing rain to the Bahamas. That slug of tropical moisture is expected to move west through the Gulf of Mexico and near the Upper Texas Coast by Saturday and Sunday.
A weak boundary from the north and this tropical moisture scooting around high pressure should help increase the coverage of afternoon / early evening rain & thunderstorms in the Brazos Valley -- potentially as early as Saturday.
