One of the gardens on the tour is the Demonstration Idea garden is managed my mater gardener volunteers. The garden features plants that grow well in Brazos County such as roses, shrubs, succulents and vegetables. The site also includes an award winning butterfly garden. Surrounding the garden is the Brazos Valley Arboretum highlighting some of the trees that grow best in central Texas.
