BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Some major Biopharmaceutical executives will be in Bryan College Station Wednesday for an annual conference called the BioPhorum.
For the first time, Texas A&M and the Research Valley Partnership will host the BioPhorum annual meeting in the Brazos Valley.
The group will tour the Fujifilm facility and are set to discuss cell and gene therapy.
Officials with the Research Valley Partnership say having this group in town is big for the local Bio community.
“We are very pleased to have some Bio companies that are already great players in that segment,” said Matt Prochaska of the Research Valley Partnership. “In particular we have Fujifilm Diosynth and G-CON and they will be a part of the BioPhorum. With the Bio companies having those clusters that are really helpful to hopefully recruit them and attract them to come here.”
