Brazos Valley Thin Blue Line Motorcycle Club raises money for first responders

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Press Release) - On Saturday October 15th 2016 the Brazos Valley Thin Blue Line Motorcycle Club held their 3rd annual Backin’ the Badges Bike Wash at The Ranch Harley-Davidson.

The Thin Blue Line MC is entirely made up of active duty or retired law enforcement officers. So it is fitting that their annual fundraiser goes to local first responders who are sick or have fallen on hard times due to unforeseen circumstances.

Another benefactor of the fundraiser is Still Creek Ranch, which houses children in the Brazos Valley and rescues them from crisis situations.

Over the last few years, they have raised over $8,000 for both of these great charities. This year alone, with the help of the community coming together and The Ranch Harley-Davidson, they were able to raise $5,000!

This year, they had a bike wash, free food, a photographer, 3 live bands, Candy 95, many vendors, and courtesy of the Ranch Harley-Davidson, helicopter rides! This was by far the best year yet!

On Saturday, October 29th they had a small ceremony where the Thin Blue Line gave a certificate of thanks to all participants and The Ranch Harley-Davidson presented their donation of $1,200 raised from the helicopter rides.

You can join them next year for the 4th Annual Backin’ the Badges Bike Wash at The Ranch Harley-Davidson, 4101 State Highway 6 South in College Station, TX.
