BRYAN, Tex (KBTX) -
Flurries turned to snow showers, turned to a pretty decent band of snow right on top of Bryan College Station and a few other spots in the Brazos Valley.
The measurement that will be inked into the record books is 5 inches at Easterwood Airport. This is 1 inch shy of the daily record set back in 1949 on New Years Day.
Some measurements were a bit unorthodox, but totals around B/CS were widespread amounts of two to five inches.
Austin's Colony: 5"
Bryan (Unspecified): 3"
West Bryan: 4.5"
College Station High School: 3"

The system that brought our snow Thursday continues to move east, and dumped more snow closer to the coast early this morning, even on the beaches of Galveston island!
