Bremond wins third straight State Title

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Bremond Tigers beat Iraan 49-28 Thursday in the Class 2A Division 2 State Championship game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington to win their third straight State Title. Bremond has now won 47 games in a row. The Tigers scored the first touchdown of the game on a 40 yard pass from Roshauud Paul to Joe Williams. The Tigers did not trail in the game.

Paul was named the Offensive MVP of the game. Paul ran for 231 yards and five touchdowns. He also threw for 153 yards and a touchdown. Bremond's Jared Stellbauer was named the Defensive MVP. He recorded seven and a half tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble.

Bremond ends the season 16-0. Iraan finishes with a 15-1 record.
