BRYAN, Texas -- KBTX's "Big Game Friday Night Feature Game" partnered with Bryan High School for the 5th annual "Beat Breast Cancer" fundraiser in support of the local Pink Alliance.

The students and faculty of Bryan High School raised $1,805.88 during the month of October by purchasing "Pink Out" shirts and bracelets as well as giving monetary donations.

Through five years, the Feature Game's fundraiser has raised nearly $10,000 for the Brazos Valley's Pink Alliance through efforts of Bryan ISD and other local high schools.

100% of the proceeds will go toward assisting women in the Brazos Valley to pay for mammograms, screenings, radiation, and other testing and treatments. One mammogram is roughly $100.

Thank you to Bryan High School for your participation in this year's fundraiser, and to the Pink Alliance for leading the fight against breast cancer in the Brazos Valley.
