COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) Bryan High School is the latest to demonstrate their support for those impacted by the tragedy in Houston, Beaumont and throughout the Gulf Coast by hosting “Texas Strong Night”.

The Vikings' football team will wear helmets with decals showing “Texas Strong” during Friday night's home game, and all donations from both home and visitor gates will be given to the Red Cross, in an effort to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

“It’s because of the support of Principal, Lane Buban, and Head Football Coach, Ross Rogers, that this game is even happening,” said Coach Jordan Menking. “As Texans, we take care of our own!” Menking added.

“Texas Strong Night” will be held Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Merrill Green Stadium when the Bryan High Vikings host the Hutto Hippos.
