BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - After having his license suspended 30 times, a Bryan man was arrested again for driving with an invalid license early Tuesday morning.
Bryan police say 37-year-old Shaun Phillips was pulled over because of an expired Texas temporary plate around 12:30 a.m.
The officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car. Phillips and his passenger said someone else had smoked in the car.
After a search, the officer found a syringe with liquid methamphetamine.
They say Philips admitted the meth belonged to him.
He was arrested and charges with possession of methamphetamine and driving with an invalid license. The 30 active suspensions date back to 2012.
