Bryan man arrested after hit-and-run, threatening officers

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - A Bryan man was arrested St. Patrick’s Day after allegedly hitting a parked car and making several threats towards police officers.

On Friday night, College Station police were called to the College Station Parking Garage in the 300 block of College Main for disorderly conduct.

When they got there, they found a city parking officer with Dillon Michael Bartek. The parking officer told police he wouldn’t let Bartek leave because he hit a vehicle while trying to drive out of the garage.

Bartek was arrested for driving while intoxicated. According to the police report, while being placed in the patrol car, he threatened the arresting officer’s family and with explicit language.

While being booked at the College Station Police Department, the police report said Bartek also threatened a jailer by saying he would take a handgun to the officer’s face.

Bartek also said he would use explosives to blow up the both the arresting officer and jailer’s houses, according to the report.

He is being charged with three counts of retaliation and driving while intoxicated. His bond is set for a combined $26,000.
