In trending news this morning, a Boston burger joint is helping patrons pop the question, and Gerber's new spokesbaby is making history.
First up, a Boston restaurant is selling a three thousand dollar hamburger. If you think that's too pricey for a cut of meat don't worry, it is not the actual burger you're paying for -- it's the sparking bling that comes with it.
Owner of Pauli's, Paul Barker says anyone who chooses to dine in his restaurant on Valentine's Day can purchase the Big Boy Burger and for that $3000 cost, they will add the ring for free. So far, Barker says there have been no confirmed orders for the proposal, but he says that he's had several "very interested" people call to find out more.
Also trending, 18-month-old Lucas Warren is making history as Gerber's "Spokesbaby of the Year." He is the first child with down syndrome to take the title in the contest's 91-year history. Gerber picked Lucas from more than 140-thousand entries to its photo search contest.
The title means Lucas' parents will get a 50-thousand-dollar prize. Lucas will appear on Gerber's social media channels and he will be featured in Gerber ads throughout the year.
