Children from local Boys & Girls Club go on shopping spree at Academy

Thirty local children with the Boys and Girls Club went on a back-to-school shopping spree at Academy.

The kids from ages 6 to 18 had a limit of $100 to get whatever school supplies they want from clothes and shoes to sporting equipment.

"There are different needs that are being met and it is always exciting to see our kids get in here and get to shopping," said Tiffany Parker with the Boys & Girls Club.

Brandon Schuler with Academy said that,"Helping kids get back into that may not necessarily have the means to do it on their own is an amazing feeling for us."

All the money used was from the Academy's donation process through the year.
