Crisp mornings not expected to last the week

OCTOBER 17th, 2017 -- Enjoying the cooler, chilly mornings as of late? Get it while you can. Mild mornings are expected to return before week's end.

A south / southeast wind returns to the Brazos Valley Wednesday, slowly allowing moisture to return from the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures will warm over the next several days -- with the most notable change happening in the overnight hours. Parts of the Brazos Valley found morning thermometers in the upper 30s Tuesday morning. By Saturday, mild 70s are expected for the entire area.

With the added moisture comes a rain and thunderstorm chance by the time weekend plans roll around. Best chance of rain? Sunday morning as the next cold front rolls into town.
